Tunis, Tunisia – WildyNess, a Tunisian B2B2C traveltech startup, has successfully closed its pre-seed funding round co-led by Bridging Angels and the African Diaspora Network, for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2021 by Achraf Aouadi and Rym Bourguiba, WildyNess connects conscious travellers with authentic local experiences co-created alongside tourism micro-entrepreneurs. The newly raised capital will accelerate the company’s regional expansion into Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the UAE, while also enhancing its technology infrastructure.
Positioning itself as a leading platform for authentic travel experiences and Community-Based Tourism (CBT), WildyNess distinguishes itself from mass-market platforms offering standardized attractions. This pre-seed round marks a milestone for the regional traveltech ecosystem, making WildyNess the first B2C/B2B2C travel marketplace in North Africa to announce such a fundraising round.
While much of the region’s venture investment has centered around fintech, WildyNess has demonstrated the strong potential of the sustainable experiences market. Prior to raising external funding, the startup recorded over $300,000 in sales since its 2022 launch, achieved entirely through organic growth and zero paid marketing spend.
“This investment validates our thesis: the future of travel is not in volume, but in authenticity and impact,” said Achraf Aouadi, Co-founder of WildyNess. “Generating $300,000 in organic sales proves that travellers are seeking real connections, not generic attractions. With the support of Bridging Angels and the African Diaspora Network, we’re ready to scale this Tunisian success story across the MENA region.”
Founded by engineers Aouadi and Bourguiba, WildyNess leverages its B2B2C model to empower tourism micro-entrepreneurs, offering them access to digital tools and exposure to global travellers.
Investors from Bridging Angels commented, “We are proud to support African startups and entrepreneurs who bring a fresh perspective to their industries with relentless discipline and deep customer care. WildyNess exemplifies this spirit perfectly.”
With this milestone, WildyNess aims to position Tunisia as a hub for sustainable and experience-driven tourism innovation in the wider Middle East and North Africa region.
