Mastercard and Banque du Liban collaborate to expand Digital Payment Acceptance for SMEs and Women Entrepreneurs in Lebanon

Beirut, Lebanon, 09 September 2026: Mastercard announced a new collaboration with Banque du Liban, stakeholders across the ecosystem, aimed at accelerating digital payment acceptance across Lebanon, with a particular focus on empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and women entrepreneurs. As part of the collaboration, Mastercard will support programs that promote digital payment acceptance, financial inclusion and business growth across the country.

The collaboration reflects Mastercard's continued efforts to help expand digital payment acceptance and enable businesses to participate more fully in the digital economy and access new opportunities for growth.
