Dubai, UAE – Ctrl Alt, a leading financial engineering and tokenization platform, has officially launched in the UAE, marking its entry into the MENA region. With its headquarters in the UK and Ireland, Ctrl Alt’s expansion into the Emirate of Dubai is driven by the city’s strategic push to integrate tokenized assets across various sectors.
The company, which has already secured several key partnerships, including one with Emirates NBD, will announce more collaborations in the coming months. Ctrl Alt brings a proven track record from the UK and Europe, where it manages over $150 million in assets. The firm now aims to replicate its success in Dubai, capitalizing on the Emirate’s rapid advancements in blockchain technology and digital finance.
The UAE operations will be led by Robert Farquhar, previously Senior Executive Officer at Prypco, a leading real estate and fractional real estate provider. Farquhar’s expertise in the real estate and fractional asset space aligns with Ctrl Alt’s innovation trajectory, having been the first company to tokenize a residential house in the UK. The company plans to apply similar innovations across Dubai’s real estate and other asset classes, enhancing the city’s stature as a global hub for tokenization.
Matt Ong, Founder and CEO of Ctrl Alt, emphasized the significance of Dubai in the firm’s global strategy:
“Dubai’s momentum in embracing tokenization is remarkable, making it an ideal choice for our third office. We are thrilled to be part of this dynamic market. With Robert’s experience and deep knowledge of the region, we are excited to deepen our presence and work closely with our partners and clients here.”
Robert Farquhar also expressed his enthusiasm for this new venture:
“It’s an incredible opportunity to lead Ctrl Alt’s launch in Dubai. The company’s groundbreaking work in tokenizing real-world assets in the UK and Europe is precisely what Dubai needs as it strives to establish itself as a leader in the tokenization space. I look forward to contributing to Dubai’s ambition and helping to drive innovation.”
Ctrl Alt’s new office will be based in the DMCC Crypto & Blockchain Ecosystem, a hub designed to support the growth and collaboration of crypto businesses in the region. The company aims to foster integrity and drive progress across the financial technology industry from this strategic base.
