Emirates NBD and DP World Launch Co-Branded Corporate Credit Card in Partnership with Mastercard

Dubai, UAE – Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye (MENAT) region, and DP World, a global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions, have announced the launch of a new co-branded corporate card in collaboration with Mastercard. The new credit card, designed to support businesses across various sectors, is tailored for companies utilizing DP World and Dubai Trade services in the UAE, including those in port, terminal, customs, and logistics operations.

The Emirates NBD DP World corporate credit card offers a range of unique business, travel, and lifestyle benefits, positioning it as a first-of-its-kind product in the UAE market. Key features include a revolving credit facility with competitive interest rates and uncapped cashback on spending. Customers will also have access to the exclusive Dubai Trade Priority Call Centre, offering 24/7 premium service. Additionally, businesses opting for this card will be able to open an account with Emirates NBD Business Banking, gaining access to a comprehensive suite of banking products and services.

A significant highlight of the card is its integration with Mastercard’s Easy Saving Specials (ESS) platform, which connects business cardholders to over 150 merchant discounts. ESS is a global program offering time-limited merchant deals that can be redeemed at checkout. This loyalty solution is designed to help businesses reduce costs, drive growth, and promote their services on social media, ultimately enabling them to better manage payments, lower transaction costs, and enhance cash flow.

Empowering UAE Businesses and Trade

Deepak Chandran, Group Head of Retail Products at Emirates NBD, emphasized the bank’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s business community, saying, “As a leading national bank, Emirates NBD is dedicated to empowering UAE businesses and fostering trade, which is a strategic priority for the country. Our partnership with DP World brings together two iconic UAE-born brands to offer an innovative and essential financial tool that supports the region’s business sector, which forms the backbone of the UAE economy.”

Ahmad Al Hassan, Chief Financial Officer at DP World GCC, echoed this sentiment, stating, “At DP World, we are focused on unlocking opportunities for seamless global trade. Our collaboration with Emirates NBD to launch this co-branded corporate card demonstrates our commitment to providing innovative solutions that enhance both operational efficiency and financial flexibility for businesses. Additionally, customers will benefit from exclusive premium services, further solidifying our role in driving the UAE’s economic growth and supporting global trade ambitions.”

Aiding Digital Transformation and Trade Growth

Gina Petersen-Skyrme, Country Manager for the UAE and Oman at Mastercard, highlighted the broader impact of the card, remarking, “The launch of the Emirates NBD DP World co-branded Mastercard corporate credit card aligns with our shared vision to advance the Dubai Economic Agenda 2033 by boosting trade volumes both from and within Dubai and across the EEMEA region. In addition to enabling fast, secure, and seamless transactions, this innovative product is uniquely designed to provide UAE trade partners with an array of benefits that make doing business easier. We are proud to see this product emerge as a key output of the Mastercard-Dubai Digital City Partnership.”

The launch builds on a longstanding collaboration between Mastercard and DP World, which over the past five years has focused on digitizing port ecosystem payment flows across multiple global locations. This initiative supports DP World’s role as a global trade enabler by streamlining freight-related payments for small businesses and cargo owners. The program, which is being implemented across DP World’s global port operations, aims to accelerate the digital transformation of the global supply chain and bolster local economies.
