The collaboration aims to bolster the growth of social tech startups by offering them access to resources, mentorship, and opportunities. Ma’an will provide these startups with the Social Certificate, Abu Dhabi’s first governmental recognition for businesses that generate positive social impact. This certificate acknowledges their contributions to sustainable solutions addressing social priorities and improving community wellbeing.
Social enterprises supported by Ma’an will also have the chance to join Hub71, a platform designed to help them strengthen their presence in Abu Dhabi and expand globally. By joining Hub71’s ecosystem, startups can unlock cash and in-kind incentives while gaining access to a broad network of corporate, government, and investment partners.
Additionally, Ma’an and Hub71 will collaborate on research initiatives, including the publication of reports on Abu Dhabi’s social tech ecosystem. These reports will provide a comprehensive assessment of the landscape, highlighting key players, funding opportunities, and regulatory frameworks to guide stakeholders and foster growth in the sector.
