RIYADH/AMMAN – Jordan-founded and Saudi Arabia-headquartered healthtech startup 21Doctors has secured a pre-seed funding round from a group of strategic angel investors, the company announced. The value of the investment was not disclosed.
Founded in 2022 by Osama Almabroum (Co-Founder & CEO) and Rania Abu Taleb (Co-Founder & CTO), 21Doctors is building a digital-first healthcare platform that leverages AI to develop scalable, Arabic-first medical tools designed for the Arab world.
The company has established its headquarters in Saudi Arabia, positioning it as the hub for product development, operations, and the enhancement of Arabic-first AI medical infrastructure.
“This round validates our mission. With Saudi Arabia at the heart of our vision, we are building a digital-first, AI-enabled future for healthcare providers,” said Almabroum. Abu Taleb added: “We are creating Arabic-first AI medical infrastructure—scalable, smart, and aligned with Vision 2030.”
21Doctors said it is committed to accelerating the digital transformation of healthcare across the region while addressing linguistic and cultural needs of Arabic-speaking medical providers. It also confirmed plans to expand its technology and partnerships across the Gulf.
