This is the first partnership between State Street Investment Management and GTN. Through the partnership, State Street IM sets the investment weightings; GTN delivers them through its wealth management platform. This gives banks, neobanks and wealth tech platforms across the GCC a ready-made way to offer their own customers professionally managed, risk-aligned model portfolios.

DUBAI, UAE – GTN and State Street Investment Management (State Street IM) have partnered to bring risk-aligned model portfolios to banks, neobanks and wealth tech platforms across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Under the arrangement, banks, neobanks and wealth technology platforms using GTN’s wealth management platform may select from a suite of model portfolios constructed by State Street IM for use with their own clients. This partnership reflects rising demand for wealth management services in the Middle East.

State Street IM will provide to GTN risk-aligned model portfolios, assessed and offered by GTN through its digital wealth management platform. The GTN platform automates and digitises portfolio and investment processes through modular architecture, open APIs and FIX connectivity. The collaboration marks an advance in the rapidly growing fintech space in the GCC, where individual investors and institutions are increasingly demanding access to model portfolio solutions.

Damian Bunce, CEO of GTN Middle East, said: “The GCC wealth management industry has entered a new phase of digital growth. The region has seen major innovation in digital trading over the past decade. So the next big opportunity is helping banks, neobanks and wealth tech platforms broaden their wealth management offering and extend access to professionally managed portfolios for a broader segment of investors. That's why this partnership is well-positioned to support the evolution of wealth management across the GCC. We see this as just the beginning, with significant potential to build on this partnership and expand into new markets.”

Emmanuel Laurina, Head of Middle East and Africa for State Street Investment Management, said: “We're seeing a rapidly growing appetite for our investment solutions offering across the Middle East, coupled with an expanding mass-affluent segment within the region and growing demand for investment services. As a major global player with decades of expertise, State Street IM is well-positioned to deliver the benefits of our significant experience and capability to the wider market, including through our custom solutions. We're thrilled to partner with GTN to this end – the coming together of their tech-first offering with our investment capabilities provides a truly compelling proposition to the market.”
