Abu Dhabi, UAE — Etihad Credit Bureau (ECB), the federal entity specializing in data technology and credit reporting, has announced a strategic collaboration with Al Ansari Exchange, the UAE’s largest remittance and foreign exchange company, and a subsidiary of Al Ansari Financial Services PJSC [DFM: ALANSARI]. This partnership aims to streamline access to credit reports for businesses across the UAE, offering greater convenience and efficiency.
Under the new collaboration, UAE-based companies can now apply for their credit reports through the Etihad Credit Bureau’s website. Following the online application, businesses can visit any of Al Ansari Exchange’s 250+ branches located across the UAE to verify their identity and pay for the service. The credit reports will then be sent directly to the applicant via email, eliminating the need for businesses to travel to ECB’s Abu Dhabi or Dubai branches.
The partnership was formalized in a signing ceremony attended by H.E. Marwan Ahmad Lutfi, Director General of Etihad Credit Bureau, and Mr. Rashed A. Al Ansari, CEO of Al Ansari Exchange, alongside senior executives from both organizations.
Commenting on the collaboration, H.E. Marwan Ahmad Lutfi said:
“As demand for company credit reports continues to rise, we have streamlined the process to enhance accessibility for all UAE businesses. Through this partnership with Al Ansari Exchange, companies can now easily apply for a credit report online and access it at any Al Ansari branch. This initiative further strengthens our commitment to delivering seamless, digital services across the country.”
Rashed A. Al Ansari, CEO of Al Ansari Exchange, also expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership:
“We are proud to collaborate with the Etihad Credit Bureau in providing an enhanced service that will greatly benefit businesses in the UAE. Credit reports play a crucial role in fostering informed and efficient business decisions, and by leveraging our extensive network of branches, we are ensuring unparalleled convenience and accessibility for companies across the nation.”
Etihad Credit Bureau offers comprehensive credit products for both individuals and companies, including detailed Credit Reports and Credit Scores. A Credit Report provides an in-depth overview of a company’s credit history, while the Credit Score, a three-digit number ranging from 300 to 900, predicts the likelihood of missed payments within the next 12 months.
This strategic partnership marks a significant step in making ECB’s products more widely available and accessible, further supporting the UAE’s business landscape with essential financial insights.
