UAE-based Lucid Capital Raises $2.5 Million Seed Round led by Tharawat Holding

UAE-based fintech Lucid Capital has closed a $2.5 million Seed funding round, led by Tharawat Holding, with participation from Singular Link, as the company looks to strengthen its trading infrastructure and accelerate artificial intelligence research.

Founded in the US in 2022 by Hamad Aldighrir, Ye Gu, and San X., Lucid Capital is a quantitative algorithmic trading fintech specialising in AI-driven investment strategies. The company has since expanded its footprint to the UAE as it scales operations across global markets.

Proceeds from the Seed round will be used to expand Lucid Capital’s trading strategies, enhance its technology stack, and advance research into artificial intelligence and autonomous trading systems. The company focuses on combining quantitative models with AI agents to improve execution efficiency, risk management, and adaptability in fast-moving markets.

In parallel with the equity raise, Lucid Capital has also secured $200 million in capital commitments from institutional investors and accredited individuals. The committed capital will be deployed across US equities and digital asset markets, supporting the large-scale execution of the firm’s algorithmic strategies.

Lucid Capital’s platform leverages advanced AI models and autonomous agents capable of adaptive frequency control, enabling real-time responses to changing market conditions and optimising trade execution. The company aims to position itself at the intersection of quantitative finance and artificial intelligence as demand for data-driven trading solutions continues to grow.
