- With one card, earn Sfeer Points, and manage benefits – in the air and on the ground
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – July 24, 2026 – Riyadh Air launched RX Pay, its suite of branded cards issued with leading Saudi Banks, giving guests a simpler, more rewarding way to pay every day. RX Pay carries Riyadh Air’s signature hospitality beyond the journey — rewarding guests for the way they already live, shop, and travel.
RX Pay marks a new chapter for the airline. Rather than placing its name on a bank’s product, Riyadh Air has created a card in partnership with the leading Saudi Banks that is unmistakably its own — shaped end to end by the airline, so every reward and every detail is designed around the guest. Leading Saudi banks issue, the card as trusted partners, and Mastercard brings the security and global acceptance guests know and trust.
Whether booking flights, shopping online or making everyday purchases, guests can earn Sfeer Points through RX Pay and enjoy benefits that travel with them. And because it works wherever Mastercard is accepted, those rewards and benefits add far beyond the airport — turning everyday spending into the next Riyadh Air adventure.
RX Pay will roll out in phases, beginning in Saudi Arabia — where Riyadh Air holds an exclusivity agreement with Mastercard — and is designed to grow across the airline’s expanding global network, welcoming trusted local bank partners in new markets along the way.
Adam Boukadida, Chief Financial Officer of Riyadh Air, said: “Riyadh Air is the world’s first digitally native airline, and RX Pay is a key part of our vision to create a seamless, integrated the travel experience for our guests. By working directly with Mastercard, and issued by leading Saudi banks, we can give our guests an experience no traditional airline card can match. We didn’t want to put our name on someone else’s card – we wanted to create something truly Riyadh Air, one that rewards our guests in their everyday lives, not just when they fly.”
Adam Jones, Executive Vice President and Division President for West Arabia at Mastercard, added: “Riyadh Air is redefining what a modern travel brand can offer its guests, and we are proud to bring the security, global acceptance, and everyday value of the Mastercard network to RX Pay. Together with leading Saudi banks, we are making it easier for travelers in Saudi Arabia and beyond to be rewarded for the way they already live and travel.”
What RX Pay brings to guests:
- A branded card just for you — Riyadh Air-branded Mastercard cards issued through leading Saudi banks, enabling guests to earn Sfeer Points on everyday spending while enjoying benefits at home and abroad.
- Rewards that travel with you — everyday spending earns Sfeer Points you can redeem toward flights and travel experiences — value you feel in real life, not just at the airport. And now, RX Pay issued through leading Saudi Banks opens up even more ways to use them — guests can redeem their Sfeer Points on any purchase, wherever Mastercard is accepted, not just on flights.
- Made with the leading Saudi Banks for modern travel — multi-currency capability, split payments, and flexible instalment options offered through issuing banks, make paying for travel effortless, with more everyday features on the way.
Because Riyadh Air designs the whole experience, RX Pay is built to keep getting better — extending the same simplicity and care across the airline’s wider community over time.
