Dubai-Based Fitness Software Company Enhance Raises $18.2 Million to Accelerate US Expansion

Dubai-founded fitness technology company Enhance has raised $18.2 million in equity and venture debt as it accelerates the expansion of its personal-training software platform in the United States.

The latest financing includes equity from Global Ventures and venture debt from Stride Ventures, although the company has not disclosed the allocation between the two forms of capital.

The funding comes as Enhance continues its transition from an on-demand personal-training service into an enterprise software platform designed to help gym operators manage and grow their personal-training businesses.

Enhance says its platform is now deployed across more than 700 fitness clubs globally, supporting approximately 15,000 personal trainers and facilitating more than 500,000 personal-training sessions every month.

Enhance targets US personal-training market

Enhance entered the US market in January 2025 and has since expanded its software footprint among major fitness operators, including Crunch Fitness, In-Shape Family Fitness, UFC Gym and PureGym USA.

The company plans to direct the latest capital primarily towards accelerating its US expansion, which it describes as the world’s largest gym market.

Enhance said its revenue has grown at an average annual rate of 65% since 2019, as it targets the operational gap between gym memberships and the personal-training services offered by fitness clubs.

The company estimates the global personal-training market at approximately $42 billion.

“We are delighted to add growth capital and to diversify our capital structure, from a position of strength. We are becoming the global operating system for Personal Training,” said Tarek Mounir, founder and CEO of Enhance.

AI-powered platform helps gyms manage personal training

Founded in Dubai in 2018, Enhance provides fitness operators with software covering personal-training bookings, trainer management, payments and performance analytics.

Its AI capabilities are designed to help gym operators identify members who may be at risk of leaving, while also highlighting areas where personal trainers may require additional support.

The company has expanded its presence across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar, alongside its growing US operations.

Saudi Arabia emerges as key growth market

Enhance has established a significant presence in the GCC, with GymNation serving as one of its anchor partners.

The company operates GymNation’s personal-training business across the fitness chain’s locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Saudi Arabia has emerged as Enhance’s fastest-growing market outside the United States, highlighting the increasing demand for digital tools and technology-enabled personal-training services across the region’s rapidly developing fitness sector.

Global Ventures backs Enhance as company scales globally

Global Ventures has backed Enhance across multiple funding rounds and lists the company among its portfolio companies. Stride Ventures is providing venture debt as part of the latest financing.

The financial terms of the latest round, including the split between equity and debt, were not disclosed beyond the $18.2 million total financing.

Enhance’s latest raise comes amid growing investor interest in fitness technology and digital health platforms, as operators increasingly adopt software, data analytics and AI to improve customer engagement, trainer productivity and retention.

With its GCC operations providing a regional base and the US becoming its primary expansion market, Enhance is positioning its platform as an operating infrastructure layer for the global personal-training industry.
